The horses next door

The horses next door are a  natural source of fertilizer for our gardens, and are always graceful  to look at. Enjoy the photos!

The Red Bud Tree Winter to Spring

Icicles clinging on branches of The Red Bud tree sparkle like stars while snow showers fall on a cold winter morning. I am dreaming of lilac blooms on The Red bud Tree in the spring .

Snow Covered Cedars

Snow Covered Cedars in sync with white clouds  against   a  clear blue sky makes this  sunny morning  after snow storm  glorious. I feel  i am outside as i look through my gallery  windows. The snow covered cedars have created a garden of trees in the middle of winter lifting my spirits and warming my heart.

Winter Wonder gardens

Snow covered ornamental grasses are a lovely sight to see. As i look out of the window at the 3 '' of snow covering all our  flower beds , i  am glad i did not cut down the perennials that have now created  winter wonder gardens for us to enjoy.
The snow covered  butterfly bushes and knock out Roses are a perfect landing for the blue jays that stay all winter.
Snow on the Red Bud tree branches glisten like crystals on a chandelier.
I wonder how winter sunshine can look so warm yet  feel so cold out side.
Winter wonder gardens in 3 '' of snow  is a lovely sight to see.

Happy Blooming New year

I created this blog to share my passion for gardening . For me, gardening is a peaceful way to  connect with nature and retreat from the hectic life we lead. I plan to post great tips for creation of  beautiful  flower gardens as well as photos of my flowers. The natural gardener.
